The Department of Neurosurgery ,the Department of anatomy and ENT at AIIMS Raipur held their combined workshop on Advanced Endoscopic and microscopic Skull Base Surgery on August 12 and13. The course, which included both lectures and cadaveric sessions, drew attendees from across the country to discuss, practice on cadavers and observe the new techniques in minimally invasive skull base surgery. We demonstrated surgeries on cadavers to teach participants techniques as these are complex procedures that require high degree precision. The workshop is a annual event of skull base surgeons society of India (SBSSI) ,the apex body for skull base surgeons in India and it was an honour for our institute to organize this event.” The training in workshop will help younger neurosurgeons to learn minimally invasive skull base surgery” and such academic activities are encouraged in our institute said Professor Ajai Singh, Director, AIIMS ,Raipur
