Newborn Care Week

Newborn Care Week observed by College of Nursing AIIMS RaipurCollege of Nursing, AIIMS Raipur observed newborn care weekbetween 15th to 21st November 2019 on the Theme: Striving Towards Excellence in Neonatal Care, with the aim of generating awareness and achieving excellence in new born care. As a part of the celebrations, various events were planned and successfully completed. Highlights of the week were-       Radio broadcasting regarding aspects of newborn care in All India Radio and My FM Raipur-       Poster Exhibition and Video assisted teaching focusing on Essential newborn care in CHC Gudhiyari and OBG & Pediatric OPD, post natal ward of AIIMS, Raipur-       Workshop on Neonatal Resuscitation and Continuing Nursing Education (CNE) for students and Nursing Officers with the aim of improving knowledge and skills-       Intercollegiate Poster and Quiz competition for nursing students. Activities succeeded in creating awareness about newborn care.Many postnatal mothers in the hospital and the community were benefitted by program. Nursing students and Nursing Officers actively participated in workshop and CNE.
