AIIMS Raipur observed Anti Ragging Day on 12th August 2025 followed by Anti-Ragging Week from 12th Aug 2025 to 18 Aug 2025, an initiative to increase awareness against ragging and to create a ragging-free campus in India. The following activities were observed during the celebration of Anti-Ragging Day/Week: 1. In this context- video messages from Executive Director & CEO Lt Gen Ashok Jindal (Retd), Dean Academics-Dr Eli Mohapatra, Dean Student Welfare- Dr KD Chavali, and Dean Examinations- Dr Avinash Ingle, were recorded and circulated. 2. Students participated in the National Contest 2024, organized by UGC and C4Y. 3. Selfie stands were created at various strategic locations in the institute and photos were taken. AIIMS Raipur’s robust anti-ragging framework includes dedicated committees and squads that promptly address and resolve complaints. AIIMS Raipur proudly reiterates in creating a ragging-free environment and enhancing awareness among students.
