The 7th Annual Conference of Society for Antimicrobial Stewardship Practices in India (SASPI) – ASPICON 2025 was organized by Department of Clinical Microbiology, General Medicine and Pharmacology, All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Mangalagiri, Andhra Pradesh from 4th September to 7th September 2025. The theme of the conference was “Charge Yourself to Assert AMR Awareness” The Department of Pharmacology, AIIMS Raipur, has actively participated in this conference in various scientific deliberations. Dr Sanjeev Kanth PE, DM Clinical Pharmacology Resident, Department of Pharmacology won 2nd Prize in Oral Paper Presentation Category. He presented his research paper on “An Open-label, Randomized, Pragmatic Clinical Trial Comparing the Current Clinical Practices to Pharmacologist-Guided Optimization of Antimicrobial Therapy Based on Average Creatinine-Urea Clearance in Critically-ill Patients: A Pilot Study.” His work was well appreciated. The conference was attended by more than 400 delegates from across the country. Dr. Nitin Gaikwad, Professor and Head of the Department of Pharmacology, commended the award recipient and conveyed his satisfaction regarding the achievement. The Department of Pharmacology expressed gratitude to Lt. Gen.
