National Conference
PEMCON 2018 (Pediatric Emergency Medicine) was organized by Department of Pediatrics, AIIMS, Raipur, on 17 th and 18 th March 2018.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by Prof. Dr. V.K. Paul, member, Niti Ayog, Padmashree Prof. Dr. A.T. Dabke, Dean, AIIMS, Ripur, Prof. Dr. S.P. Dhaneria amongst other dignitaries. Dr. Anil Goel welcomed the dignitaries and delegates as organizing secretary.
The 1 st day was dedicated to hands on workshop on emergency ultrasound. Dr. Sanjeev Bhoi, course director, ICCES, India, was the main resource person for the workshop.
2 nd day was conference proper and almost 100 delegates participated in the event. Valedictory session was attended by Director, AIIMS, Raipur, Prof. Dr. Nitin M Nagarkar and he enlightened the delegates about the importance of evolving emergency medicine specialty and its utility in day to day practice. The conference ended with vote of thanks by organizing chairman by Dr. Joseph John.
