Swachhata Awareness Shramdaan Activity Report Date: April 2nd, 2024 On the occasion of the Swachhata Pakhwada, spanning from April 1st to April 2nd, 2024, a concerted effort was made to enhance the cleanliness and hygiene within the hospital premises. The initiative, focusing on the area around Gate No. 1, involved the collaborative efforts of our dedicated sanitation workers and staff. The special cleanliness drive conducted today marks the culmination of these efforts, leading to a noticeably improved environment within and around the hospital. Activities Undertaken: (Photographs attached) 1. Waste Collection and Disposal: A thorough collection of litter, including scattered tea cups, disposable glasses, empty bottles, and plates, was carried out throughout the hospital premises and along its boundary. The collected waste was subsequently removed by the garbage collection vehicle. The before and after states of the premises have been documented through photographs to highlight the effectiveness of the clean-up effort. 2. Clearance of Unused Materials: In the area between Gates No. 1 and 2, unused and crumpled plastic tarpaulins along with discarded clothes were gathered and disposed of. This not only cleared space but also contributed to the overall aesthetics and cleanliness of the area. Photographic evidence of the cleared spaces has been attached to demonstrate the progress achieved. 3. Drain Cleaning: The drains, often overlooked, received special attention during this drive. Accumulated garbage, including paper, plastic bottles, and food plates, was extracted from the drains, ensuring better flow and sanitation. Acknowledgments: The success of today’s special cleanliness drive was made possible through the significant contributions of our staffs. Their dedication and hard work were instrumental in achieving the desired outcomes, underscoring the collective commitment to maintaining a clean and hygienic hospital environment.
