Report on CME on Genetic disorders and Inborn Errors of Metabolism:-The CME on Genetic Disorders and Inborn errors of Metabolism was organized by the Department of Pediatrics, AIIMS Raipur on 21st September 2018 in collaboration with Indian Society of Inborn errors of Metabolism. Well known researchers, Dr. Madhulika Kabra, Prof and In charge, Genetic Division, AIIMS Delhi, Dr. Ratna Puri, In charge of Genetics, SGRH Delhi, shared their knowledge and expertise in this CME with the pediatricians from in and around Raipur. Among others present were, Dr. Sanwar Agrawal, Director, Ekta Hospital, Raipur and Dr. Sharja Phuljhele, Prof and Head pediatrics, Pt. JNM Medical College, Raipur and Dr. Amar Singh Thakur, Deputy Director, Child Health, Chhattisgarh. Panel discussion and interactive sessions on various topics including, Genetics in Pediatric practice and approach to Intellectual Disability were discussed throughout the day.Hon. Director, AIIMS Raipur, Prof. (Dr.) Nitin M Nagarkar, (Chief Guest), Padmashree Dr. A. T. Dabke (guest of honor) graced the Inauguration ceremony.The organizing chairperson, Dr. Anil K. Goel, welcomed all dignitaries and delegates. Hon. Director Prof (Dr.) Nitin M Nagarkar in his address to the august gathering appreciated the efforts done by the organizing team and wished for success of the CME. He expressed confidence that with such academic activities and services AIIMS, Raipur would create a new benchmark in the health care services, not only in Chhattisgarh, but also in India. Members of the organizing committee were felicitated at the hands of Hon. Director. Dr. Atul Jindal, organizing Secy, proposed the vote of thanks.
